Wenda Sheet Metal is committed to providing a quality service in a manner which ensures a safe and healthy workplace for our employees whilst minimising our potential impact on the environment.

It is the policy of Wenda Sheet Metal to identify and act to prevent quality and environmental issues from the Company’s operations, whilst simultaneously maintaining sensitivity to the full range of customer expectations.

We recognise the importance of sustainable environmental protection and are pro-active in complying with all relevant environmental legislation, striving to promote pollution prevention and environmental best practices in all we do.

Our environmental objectives are delivered through:

  • Minimising the production of waste, continually seeking new opportunities to reduce the use of packaging material, re-using where practical to do so.

  • Promoting environmental awareness amongst our employees and encouraging them to work in an environmentally responsible manner.

  • Training, educating and informing our employees about environmental issues that may affect their work. • Reducing waste through re-use and recycling and, as far as possible, purchasing products that have, or can be recycled.

  • Reducing and/or limiting the production of pollutants to water, land and air.

  • Promoting efficient use of materials and resources throughout our facility, including water, electricity, raw materials and other resources, particularly those that are non-renewable.

  • Adhering to all relevant regulations concerning waste and environmental well-being.

  • Assessing the environmental impact of any new processes or products which we intend to introduce in advance.

  • Seeking to minimise the use of energy in our activities, for example: lights and equipment will be switched on only when needed, and not out of routine.

  • Ensuring our suppliers and contractors meet our environmental standards.

  • Listening and responding to feedback provided by our customers on environmental issues. Striving to continually improve our environmental performance whilst minimising the social impact and damage of activities by periodically reviewing our environmental policy, whilst also considering our current and planned future activities.
